The Ultrasound therapy device is a five-intensity high-tech therapy device that is suitable for use in health centers and helps treat dozens of specific problems.

Ultrasound therapy device is recommended by physiotherapist Lauri Rannama.

How does it work?

Ultrasound therapy affects the movement of cells within the body and thus produces an analgesic effect on pain. The therapy accelerates cellular metabolism and regeneration, softens scar tissue, accelerates lymph and blood circulation, and creates new blood vessels. Ultrasound also reduces the effects of enzymes that reduce tissue elasticity. Through these processes, the ultrasound device can treat very many health problems.

The difference between the models of Borealis and the larger ultrasound machines used in hospitals is that the patient’s treatment is not recorded by the machine and must be recorded by the therapist. The therapeutic ultrasound frequency range is 0,8–3,0 MHz, but injuries that are treated with the highest frequency are very few in practice. Thus, the device with frequency of 0,8–2,5 MHz is suitable for use in almost all health centres.
